SAMA Ensemble & Negar Bouban – November 8, 2024, Alte Börse Leipzig On November 8, 2024, the SAMA Ensemble joined forces with the renowned musician Negar Bouban for a remarkable concert at Alte Börse Leipzig. The combination of santur, oud, clarinet, and daf created a unique soundscape where traditional Persian music met contemporary compositions. Led by Ali Pirabi, the SAMA Ensemble has been dedicated to transcultural collaboration and creative encounters between musical traditions since 1995. As part of the concert series “Sounds of Freedom: Women Musicians Without Borders,” the evening featured both instrumental performances and vocal works.
